DC Universe reveals Official Synopsis of Doom Patrol episode Dad Patrol

DC Universe has released the Official Synopsis of Doom Patrol episode “Dad Patrol” (2.08) that will be available on Thursday, July 30.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Determined to prove her worth in The Underground, Jane brings Larry to rural Arkansas to help her retrieve an invaluable item. Meanwhile, Niles organizes a special day for Dorothy, who hides a personal development from her declining father. And Cliff gives father/daughter bonding with Clara (guest star BETHANY ANNE LIND) his best shot, while Rita embraces her superhero status as “The Beekeeper” and Vic is forced to confront the real Roni..

Guest stars in the episode include Mark Sheppard as Willoughby Kipling, Samantha Marie Ware as Miranda, Karen Obilom as Roni Evers, Abigail Shapiro as Dorothy Spinner, Pisay Pao as Slava, and Bethany Anne Lind as Clara Steele.

DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele, Negative Man aka Larry Trainor, Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief. Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.
