DC Universe reveals Official Synopsis of Doom Patrol episode Dumb Patrol

DC Universe has released the Official Synopsis of Doom Patrol episode “Dumb Patrol” (2.07) that will be available on Thursday, July 23.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Miranda helps protect the Doom Patrol from some truly terrible ideas after a mysterious package arrives at Doom Manor. Rita’s visit to the Cloverton beekeeper leads her to confront her lingering mommy issues. While on his way back to the manor, Cliff ends up stuck on the side of the road – literally. Niles heads north to find Dorothy’s mother.

Guest stars in the episode include Mark Sheppard as Willoughby Kipling, Karen Obilom as Roni Evers, Tommy Snider as Beardhunter, Bethany Anne Lind as Clara Steele, Irene Ziegler as Mickey Harris, and Avis-Marie Barnes as Martha the Beekeeper.

DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele, Negative Man aka Larry Trainor, Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief. Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

“Doom Patrol” is based on DC characters originally written and drawn by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani. From Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television with executive producer Jeremy Carver, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
