ABC reveals Official Synopsis of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode The Return

ABC has released the Official Synopsis of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode “The Return” (4.21) that will be aired on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00-11:00 PM.

COULSON’S VICTORY IN THE FRAMEWORK REVEALS A GREATER THREAT

Coulson and the team’s victory in the Framework is short-lived, as an even deadlier enemy looms against them all.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie.

Guest starring are Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Briana Venskus as Agent Piper, Maximilian Osinski as Agent Davis, Zach McGowan as The Superior, Ricardo Walker as Agent Prince, Brennan Feonix as Airman Whitley and J. Michael Evans as Airman Richardson.

“The Return” (#421) was written by Maurissa Tancharoen & Jed Whedon and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.

In Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.
