NBC reveals Official Synopsis of Powerless episode Sinking Day

The CW has released the Official Synopsis of Powerless episode “Sinking Day” (1.03) that will be aired on Thursday, February 16 at 08:30-09:00 PM

VAN’S INCOMPETENCE PUTS EMILY IN A TOUGH SPOT

When the team loses a client due to Van’s (Alan Tudyk) incompetence, Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) seeks to clinch a deal with the people of Atlantis. Because of his massive screw up, Van’s father (guest star Corbin Bernsen) takes notice and sets him on a path to redeem himself. Meanwhile, new employee Alex (guest star Matthew Atkinson) starts at the office and Teddy (Danny Pudi) and Ron (Ron Funches) are convinced he is a superhero.

Christina Kirk also stars. Jennie Pierson recurs. Corbin Bernsen Guest Stars.

Powerless is the first comedy series set in the universe of DC Comics, Vanessa Hudgens plays Emily, a spunky young insurance adjuster specializing in regular-people coverage against damage caused by the crime-fighting superheroes.

Ben Queen serves as writer and executive producer. Director Michael Patrick Jann (pilot) also executive produces. “Powerless” is produced by Warner Bros. Television and based on the characters from DC Comics.
