According to Entertainment Weekly, Actor Chris Payne Gilbert has joined the cast to play John Decker, in Lucifer‘s Second season. Gilbert will appear in the seventh episode.
Officer John Decker, who was a beat cop on the LAPD. A good man, and even better father, John was killed in the line of duty, sending Chloe (Lauren German) on her path to becoming a detective; she was a 19-year-old starlet just beginning a movie career when he died. Ten years later, when the details of this fateful evening come into question, Chloe will try to give her father the justice he always fought for.
Chris Payne Gilbert is known for his roles in ’10 Items or Less’ and ‘The Protector’.
Lucifer is set to return on Monday, September 10 at 09:00 PM on Fox.
