According to TVLine, actress Susan Walters has joined the cast to play Dr. Carla Tannhauser, the mother of Caitlin Snow, in The Flash‘s Third season. Walters will star as a guest-star role and potentially recur.
Dr. Carla Tannhauser is a world class biomedical engineer and CEO of a major research company. But while Caitlin may have inherited her mother’s formidable scientific mind, the two have long had a difficult relationship, with Caitlin finding her mother cold and withholding, and Carla regarding her daughter as rebellious and ungrateful.
Susan Walters is known for his roles in ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Teen Wolf’ and ‘Star-Crossed ‘.
The Flash is set to return on Tuesday, October 4 at 09:00 PM on The CW.
