According to TVLine, actor Ian Gomez has joined the cast as Snapper Carr, Kara’s New Boss, in Supergirl‘s Second season. Gomez will star as a new series regular.
Snapper Carr, the dry, all-knowing journalist appointed by Cat (played by Calista Flockhart) to serve as the editor-in-chief of CatCo Magazine. He believes in the free press and journalistic integrity and thinks both have been lost in this age of blogs and Twitter. He will be both an adversary and a mentor to the younger reporters (Kara included) around him.
Ian Gomez is known for his roles in ‘Cougar Town’ and ‘Rita Rocks’.
Supergirl is set to return on Monday, October 10 at 8:00pm on The CW.
