According to TVLine, actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers has joined the cast as Amaya Jiwe, aka Vixen, in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s Second season. Richardson-Sellers will star as a new series regular.
Amaya Jiwe, grandmother to Mari Jiwe McCabe (played by Megalyn Echikunwoke in Arrow’s Season 4), has superpowers that are derived from the mysterious Tantu Totem, which allows her to magically access the abilities of animals.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers is known for her roles in ‘The Originals’ and ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to return on Thursday, October 13 at 8:00pm on The CW.
