According to Variety, actress Lynda Carter has joined the cast as the President of the United States, in Supergirl‘s Second season. Carter will star in a recurring role.
Executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg teased the casting in March, telling they had casted Carter for a role in season 1, but that her schedule wouldn’t allow it.
Lynda Carter is know for her roles in ’70s ‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.
Supergirl is set to return on Monday, October 10 at 8:00pm on The CW.
