According to TVLine, actress Jewel Staite has joined the cast as Rachel Turner, in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’s first season. She will first appear in episode 10.
Rachel Turner is a tech genius/roboticist who exists in a future in which technology has an even firmer grip on our lives than it does today. As a descendant of a long line of inventors, Rachel believes that her creations can make that world a better place. What she cannot foresee is that her work is destined to fall into the hands of Vandal Savage, who will use it to take over the world. Unless Rachel can team up with the Legends to stop Vandal.
Jewel Staite is know for her roles in ‘Firefly’ and ‘Stargate Atlantis’.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow air every Thursdays at 08:00 PM on The CW.
