According to ETonline, actress Italia Ricci has been casted as Siobhan Smythe, AKA Silver Banshee, in Supergirl’s First Season. She will first appear in episode 14 in a major recurring role.
Siobhan Smythe will be Cat Grant’s latest hire at CatCo, who at first becomes a work nemesis for Kara but proves a more deadly foe for Supergirl (played by Melissa Benoist) when she becomes DC villain Silver Banshee.
“We are so excited to be working with Italia. We’ve been a fan of her work for years and we cannot wait to see her take on this iconic comic book role,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in an exclusive statement.
Italia Ricci is know for her role in ‘Chasing Life’ and ‘The Remaining’.
Supergirl air every Monday at 08:00 PM on CBS.
