Today the LA Times had an exclusive look at the new Quake tactical suit for Skye, aka Daisy Johnson, in the third season of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., returning on September 29th on ABC.

“It’s about strength. She feels very empowered in it,” explained costume designer Ann Foley in an interview with The LA Times. “That’s what was important to me, that she felt empowered to me. I wanted to stay true to some of the designs I saw in the comics. In the style lines, I wanted to pay a little bit of a tribute to her tactical ability from last season, but we also incorporated the Quake symbol into her gauntlets and on the back of her suit.”
