UPDATE 06/23: Actress Ciara Renée and The CW have officially refuted the rumors of a Hawkgirl solo TV series.
Srry to disappoint, but the rumors are false. No #Hawkgirl solo show! Thanx for all the love though! Even more excited to start #DCLOT now!

Original story follows:
According to SpoilerTV, The CW is in the early stages of developing a series that is focused on the adventures of Hawkgirl, starring Ciara Renée.
Renée made her onscreen debut as Kendra Saunders during the season finale of The Flash episode “Fast Enough“, and is slated to play the winged warrior as part of the ensemble on this fall’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, starring Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter.
Should The CW opt to take the development forward, it is reported, they are likely to go from pilot process and order the show straight to series.
No indication as of yet whether the Hawkgirl TV show would be set before of after the events of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
